Palestine is a perfect introduction to Book Fire’s raw sound. This driving garage rock anthem bursts forth with forceful beats and a throbbing bassline that propels the track forward. Straight-ahead guitar, gritty and unapologetic, delivers the kind of visceral energy that fans of early punk and garage rock crave.

It’s the lyrics and snarling vocals set "Palestine" apart. Directness and concise honesty, the song explores the complex, questions of conflict, power, and its repercussions. Lyrics, acerbically pointed, ground the track in a sense of purpose and urgency that’s all too needed in today’s world conversation.

The creation of "A.T.I.L.A." (originally titled Always Tomorrow In L.A.) arose from the collaboration between frontman Ziggy V and bassist Sterling Silva. It was one of the first songs the duo penned together, and a defining moment for Book Fire. Capturing the essence of Los Angeles and its vibrant energy, the track is an instrumental piece that would embodies the dynamic spirit of the city, translating L.A.'s fast-paced, angsty, yet colorful atmosphere into music. Despite the lack of lyrics, A.I.T.I.L.A. churns with energy, offering listeners a sonic snapshot of L.A. life. It captures the feeling of constant movement, with music that mirror the busy streets and vibrant, gritty culture of the city. "A.T.I.L.A." is currently the only instrumental track in the Book Fire repertoire, making it unique in their collection of songs.

A bit about Book Fire

Book Fire is a raw, streetwise rock and roll band forged in the heat of punk’s legacy and garage rock’s rebellious spirit. 

Fronted by Ziggy V, veteran of 80's east coast punk bands X-Factor and ADX, and 90's west coast industrial punk bands Manwax and Altered States of Conciuosness (ASC), and anchored by the co-writing skills of Sterling Silva, the bass player from the underground LA punk band JFK Motorcade. Book Fire blends the esthetic of late 70's punk with the gritty DIY vibe of early garage rock, adds just a bit of dark psychedelia, and re-envisions todays underground sound.
